Usha Tewari, the founder of Ask About Care and the voice behind The Caregiving Leader, where she is working to help caregivers prioritize their own health while advancing awareness, advocacy, and leadership.

After nearly two decades caring for her mother living with dementia, Usha witnessed firsthand how caregiving can impact physical health, mental well-being, careers, and relationships. Her experience inspired a mission to ensure caregivers are recognized, supported, and encouraged to care for themselves not only for those they love, but for their own long-term health.

Professionally, Usha has dedicated her career to public service and community engagement. She serves as a Constituent Services Manager for the Orange County Property Appraiser's Office in Central Florida, leading a high-performing team focused on exceptional public service. She has more than two decades of experience in government relations, constituent advocacy, leadership, and nonprofit collaboration.

Through Ask About Care, Usha leads initiatives that promote caregiver recognition, health, education, and policy change. She also created the Caregiver Health Collective, a wellness-focused community designed to help caregivers build healthier habits through education, accountability, and connection.

Usha is a national speaker on caregiving, leadership, caregiver health, Alzheimer's advocacy, and community engagement. Her work has been recognized through honors including Orlando Magazine's Women of the Year and the Orange County Distinguished Asian American Award.

She believes one simple question, "Are you a caregiver?" has the power to transform healthcare, improve lives, and create healthier communities.
